THE WS250® ENGINEThe WS250 is powered by a 242cc 4-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection, which was developed specifically for our vehicle. Purposefully crafted to be lightweight, compact and robust, it produces 20 HP (trust us, with a vehicle this light, it’s more than enough). Coupled with our lightweight aluminum chassis and custom-built components, we get an attractive power-to-weight ratio, which banks on the agility and drivability of the vehicle. The WS250 is also equipped with an integrated dual power curve, allowing the rider to adjust the engine’s responsiveness with the simple click of a button, either opting for a more aggressive ride in open terrain or at lower speeds for more technical and challenging terrain. The WS250 is also extremely fuel-efficient, meaning you spend more time filling up on your adrenaline rather than filling up at the pump. |
CVTECH® TRANSMISSIONThe WS250 is equipped with a continuously variable transmission made by CVTech-IBC®, a world-renowned manufacturer of drivetrains for powersport vehicles based in Quebec. It ensures a quick and responsive power output every time you press on the throttle. CVTech products are maintenance free and will provide maximum performance to the vehicle throughout its life. |
LESS PASSIVE.
|
TRACK BY SOUCY®The WS250 get its traction from a custom-made, scaled track, built by Soucy, a leading manufacturer of powersports components in Québec. The track is 105 inches in length by 12 inches in width with 1.5 inch lugs, giving the ride optimal traction and control. |
PURPOSE-BUILT UHMW SKIThe WS250 is steered by a 12-inch single ski, purposefully designed by the engineers at Widescape. It is the same width as the track to ensure increased driveability and balance. It is equipped with a single central keel and side runners for optimal grip and precise handling on all surface types. |
LESS WEIGHT.
|
THE COCKPITThe WS250 comes with a thumb-operated throttle for ease of use and comfort. This ensures a smooth and steady power output that comes in handy especially when riding in dense forests. Thanks to spacers, the riser bar can be adjusted up to 30mm to meet the rider’s height. |
THE DIGITAL DISPLAYThe WS250 comes standard with a 4 in. digital display, giving the rider all the info needed during a ride (low/high oil temperature, low battery voltage, check engine, odometer, tripmeter, clock) |
RIDING PLATFORMThe WS250 comes with a non-slip traction mat to ensure the rider’s feet are always securely in place on the driving platform. The built-in grooves ensure that snow is cleared from the driving platform during the ride. |
LESS EXPENSIVE.
|
SUSPENSIONHigh-performance front and rear suspension ensures a smooth and comfortable driving experience in all types of terrain. Jumping a cliff or riding down a steep hill is no problem thanks to the suspension’s 140mm front and 100mm rear travel. |
BODYWORK AND CHASSISThe WS250’s chassis and frame are made entirely of aluminum, which makes the vehicle very light yet robust. At 200 pounds, it’s the lightest snowmobile on the market. The WS250 is very easy to maneuver and has tremendous floatability, even in deep snow. The aluminum frame is wrapped in HDPE plastics, which are resistant to shock and cold, and finished up in a sleek and minimal design, developed jointly with our partner, Brio Innovation. |
